Quick Tuna Mornay
Recipes > Main MealsThis super easy dish is a lovely dinner served with a side of veggies and just as nice cold the next day served with a side salad. A simple, low fat, healthy option to traditional tuna mornay.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup rice
- 1 large tomato chopped roughly
- 1 medium tomato sliced
- 1 onion chopped finely
- ¼ cup low fat grated cheese
- 450g can tuna in springwater
- 410g tin chicken soup
- 2 teaspoons Parmesan cheese for topping
Method
- Cook rice as per packet directions
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Mix all ingredients except the tomato slices and Parmesan cheese if using.
- Place mixture into an oven proof dish and layer the tomato slices [and cheese] on top
- Place in oven and cook for 30 minutes
