No Bake Snack Balls
Recipes > Sweet Biscuits and SnacksThese low fat, no bake snack balls are almost too simple to make and taste delicious. Great for a snack in the morning or afternoon.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cornflakes
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup plain crushed biscuits
- 4 tablespoons pumpkin seeds or crushed walnuts
- 6 tablespoons low fat margarine
- 1 tablespoon water
Method
- Roughly crush the cornflakes - with a rolling pin or a plastic bag
- Make sure margarine is at room temp. Place the cornflakes, sugar, nuts and seeds, margarine and water in a food processor and process until mixture starts forming larger crumbs
- Using hands press together 14 snack sized balls.
- Store in air tight container in the fridge
