Raspberry Breakfast Slice
Recipes > Sweet Biscuits and SnacksThis is a great dish to make on a weekend so you have breakfast ready to go during the week. Very tasty warmed slightly in the microwave or cold from the fridge. Cut into smaller portions for a morning or afternoon snack.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats or quinoa flakes
- 2 cups lactose free milk
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup rice syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 3 tablespoons margarine or Nuttelex [melted]
- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries or strawberries
- ½ cup macadamia nuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 180
- Place oats in a greased or lined tray.
- In a blender or large jug mix the eggs, milk, rice syrup, vanilla powder and nuttelex or margarine and pour over oats then top with berries and nuts
- Place in oven for approx 30 minutes or until set - firm in the middle.
- Cut into suitable portions
- Store in the fridge
